Our Company

Steady work.
Considered AI.

We are a small team in Hong Kong focused on one thing: helping organisations bring AI into their operations in ways that hold up under the pressure of real daily work.

Our Story

Started from the operations floor, not the innovation lab

Koi Stream grew from conversations with managers at hotels, retail chains, and shared service centres who were curious about AI but wary of disruption. They needed something between "nothing" and "replace everything" โ€” a way to trial AI support in specific tasks without the whole operation on it.

We formed the company in Tai Po to work directly with those teams: understanding their workflows, piloting AI tools in bounded, observable ways, and staying present long enough to see what actually changes โ€” and what does not.

Our approach is neither promotional nor cautionary. We think AI can be a practical support in certain situations, and our role is to find those situations honestly and implement well.

Mission

To help Hong Kong organisations integrate AI in ways that improve daily operations without removing human judgment from the decisions that matter.

Vision

Operations where AI handles repetitive information tasks well enough that people can spend more time on the interactions and decisions that require human care.

Values

Honesty about what AI can and cannot do. Patience during implementation. Respect for the expertise your team already holds.

Standards

How we work

Each engagement follows a consistent set of operating standards that protect your organisation and your team.

PDPO Compliance

All services are designed in accordance with Hong Kong's Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance. Consent documentation is built into scope for any service involving recorded interactions.

Human Review at Every Stage

No AI output goes directly to a guest, customer, or document without passing through a staff member's review. This is a design principle, not an afterthought.

Documented Processes

We document the AI workflows we implement so your team has a clear reference and can retrain new staff without relying on us indefinitely.

Structured Staff Training

Training is included in every engagement and conducted in-person where possible. We focus on building confidence, not just familiarity.

Operational Review First

Every project begins with a structured review of your existing operations. We learn your context before recommending anything. This keeps scope realistic from the start.

Data Minimisation

We work with the minimum data necessary for each service to function. We do not collect or retain data beyond what the service explicitly requires.

AI integration for Hong Kong operations

Koi Stream works with hospitality groups, retail chains, and service centre operations across the New Territories and Hong Kong Island. Our focus is on three areas where AI can provide genuine support to frontline staff without disrupting the service quality your customers expect.

We bring direct experience of Hong Kong's operating environment โ€” the pace of hotel front desks during peak periods, the realities of coaching large retail teams across multiple stores, and the document volumes handled by regional back-office centres. Each service is built around those realities rather than adapted from generic AI frameworks.

Our Tai Po office serves as both a working space and a testing environment where we evaluate AI tools against the specific demands of Hong Kong business operations before proposing them to clients.
